Brussels, Belgium
Capital of Belgium, capital of the European Union, but not the best part of Belgium. The waffles and the fries are phenomenal ('French' Fries are actually Belgian by origin, but who's counting). They do speak French here though; gonna have to get used to that haha. Funny story, didn't book ahead for a hostel. We walked to hostel # 1: no room at the inn. 2, same thing. 3, same thing again. Finally 4, same thing. Apparently all hostels were booked because of the Jazz Marathon!! Crazy busy town; finally after an hour and a half of walking the streets with our full packs, we checked into a budget hotel. It did the trick, but it cost a bit more. I guess we saw more of the city that way haha. Pretty exhausting day though. Anyway, it turned out to not be too bad a town, a little too North American like though.
Bruges, Belgium
Beautiful...simple as that. Nice small Belgian city, middle ages town (very well preserved), relaxing, highlight #2 next to Berlin. Most picturesque town that's the most difficult to photograph (everything's so damn close together!!!). Really enjoyed walking through this city, definitely a good time. Even climbed up on a windmill (thought I might fall and die, but that's ok....not normally scared of heights, but those stairs were steep and high!!!). I'll post pictures later, having some trouble right now.

Amsterdam
So we went to Amsterdam, had a pretty good time. The girls were really nice there too! They would dance for you and invite you to come by for a while, it was pretty nice. I actually had a date with one girl. we didn't even have anything to eat, but she asked me to 'pick up the bill' at the end of the evening. Oh well, at least they were nice. Just kidding, but seriously, gotta love Amsterdam. Always culture shock, but it is a good time. Went to the Heineken Brewery which was great, Anne Frank House which is an amazing story even the second time around, and even an improv comedy show Boom Chicago. Funny stuff, and good times. Also took a paddle boat on the canals. Funny looks from the locals, but worth it all the way! Did the Van Gogh and Rijks Museum again, but first time for Jordan so must see!!
Pics:

3) Drummin at the Heineken Experience (first time since I left, getting ancy. Got applause though haha.

Bremen, Germany
1) Jordan and I in front of the Beck's brewery (free beer, good deal for sure!!)
2) Bremer Dom (cathedral)
By the way, all new pictures are from Oslo on, so if you look down to Oslo all the way up to here, you're all caught up! Not too much to say, we're going to Amsterdam tomorrow. All is well, we're having a great time. Berlin is probably the highlight so far, although we spent the most time there and I was able to see and experience some things I haven't before (seeing as I had already been there twice before). The city is full of so much history and is so alive, it's an amazing place to be. My tour guide even said I could possibly take her job haha! We'll see, something to look into. I could be a walking tour guide for sure. Gotta go, Jordan's waiting.
Love most of you, like some of you,
Brady
Berlin 3 & Potsdam, Germany
Berlin part 2, Germany
Lübeck, Germany
1) Devil at Marienkirche in Lübeck. The story goes that he was around during the building of the church, he didn't like the idea, so the architect promised that make a drinking hole right next to it. And there is a pub that's been in Marktplatz since the church was built.
2) Holstentor (gate to city)
3) Crucifix in the Dom (cathedral)

Ok, so here's the deal...I'll do more pics as soon as I can, just haven't been anywhere where I can connect to a USB port, or when I can, the computer won't let me etc. Anyway, we've been in Hamburg for a few days (pretty nice city, checked out the famous Reeperbahn, the Alster lake, usw (etc)), we took a one day trip up to Luebeck and went to the Marionettentheater (marionettes, puppets) and we've spent the last 5 days in Berlin. LOVE Berlin still. We've had a great time here, took the walking tour I did last time...didn't get Terry (old funny English guy), but we got a cute French Canadian girl instead. Nothing wrong with a bit of eye candy during a tour. We've had a great time here, but we're now back to Hamburg in the morning en route to Bremen and then Amsterdam. Pics soon, I promise. Much love!

End of Scandanavia
So we left Stockholm (where we had a really good time and saw a really cool city), and headed for Oslo, Norway. Oslo was pretty awesome, some funny stories came from it which is the most interesting part (or so we found). I did a bit of knitting (that's right, some random girl who is engaged needed to knit a hat with random people namely me, and I'm guessing it was her something blue.) The fortress in Oslo was really awesome, that's for sure.
We then headed to Copenhagen, Denmark where we are currently. It seemed to have a more European feel to it than Oslo, and I guess that makes sense since we're closer to the mainland. Tomorrow, I'm going home to Germany. Ich kann nicht warten (can't wait). Should be a good time, tried to do some pics, but to no avail. Will try again when I get a chance!

Hey all, we arrived in London on Monday, saw some of the city and all that, but since we're going to be back, we grabbed a Ryan Air flight to Stockholm. Sweden is pretty awesome from what we can see, we took a boat tour of Stockholm today and it's just beautiful. My shoes already smell like a hockey locker room, and I haven't even been wearing socks two days in a row (until today). I'm hoping to get some pics up tonight, but we'll see. Off to Oslo, Norway tomorrow, so we'll talk soon. Free internet here, lucky us. Oh yeah, we bought a one month Eurail pass today, so we're working our way back to London through Northern Europa!
